How Novix works.
Setup, the doorways, and what happens to a fix before you see it.
Getting started
What Novix is, what to connect, and what happens on your first task.
- What Novix does
Novix reads a bug report from wherever it landed, finds the root cause in your code, and opens a pull request a person approves.
- Connect your first source
Point Novix at the one place your bug reports already land, and scope it so only real reports arrive.
- Connect your repository
GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket. This is what turns a diagnosis into a real patch against your code.
- Your first task, end to end
What actually happens between a report arriving and a pull request appearing.
- Auto-summons: the same agent, no tag required
Point your monitoring at Novix and an error your users hit becomes a diagnosed task and a pull request before anybody reports it.
The doorways
Reaching Novix from the tools you already have open.
- Summon Novix where you work
Ask Novix to look at something from a comment, a label, a Slack thread or a database row.
- Email: forward a report, reply to answer
Forward any mail to Novix and it becomes a task. Reply to a Novix email and the reply is a command.
- Redraft a fix, or answer its question
Two commands that keep a task moving without opening the dashboard: one steers a draft, one answers a run.
Approving and shipping
What Novix checks before you see a fix, and how a fix ships.
- What Novix checks before you see a fix
A drafted patch passes a security review, a safety review and your own build and tests before it reaches you.
- Draft and ready-for-review pull requests
Novix always opens a pull request. Five conditions decide whether it lands ready for review or as a draft.
- Merging the pull request is the approval
Approve where you already are, or just merge. Novix never merges on its own, from any path.
Billing
The two plans, who is billed, and what an approved fix costs.
- Solo, Pro, and unlimited people
Solo is free and Pro is $49 a month. Both are one workspace with unlimited people.
- What an approved fix costs
Unlimited on your own inference key. $1.49 each on Novix’s, uncapped on Pro and capped at $98 on Solo.
