An AI code review platform, and the reviewer a lot of our customers already run. It reviews every pull request a team opens, and it also runs in the editor, on the command line and at pre-commit, with security scanning beside it. It calls itself the control layer for software change. Since July its Slack agent has done more than review: it investigates, plans and opens pull requests, which is the closest anything in this set comes to the shape of Novix.

An existing pull request is the core product. CodeRabbit Plan takes a text prompt or a ticket from Linear, Jira, GitHub Issues or GitLab. The Slack agent takes a conversation. The command-line tool runs on your own machine.
How a customer report reaches it
Their page for the Slack agent names Zendesk and Intercom among connected tools. The documented integration list does not include a help desk: it names Jira, Linear, Notion, Confluence, runbooks, Datadog, PostHog, Sentry, AWS, GCP, MCP servers and Google Drive. Their own workflow writeup describes the support path as somebody pasting an issue into Slack. So a customer report does reach CodeRabbit, once a person carries it there.

CodeRabbit runs on every pull request your team opens. Novix reviews the fixes it drafts and offers a check on request; it is not a standing reviewer over your engineers’ own work. If that is the job you are hiring for, they are the answer and we are not.

What Novix does differently
The report never has to become a ticket first
Novix connects to help desks, chat, trackers and alerting, and brings its own intake: a chat widget, a hosted form and one address to forward mail to. The bug arrives written by the person who hit it. Tag Novix in a Slack thread and it reads the thread the tag points at, including an alerting app’s own post, rather than only the line somebody typed.
The fix is proven, not only reviewed
Your build and your test suite run against the drafted patch in a throwaway container, with one repair attempt on a failure. A missing toolchain is reported as exactly that, never as a failed build.
A visual fix arrives as a picture, not as a diff
When the patch touches something that renders, the same container boots your app and photographs the route before and after the change, with a live preview beside it. Approving “make the empty state read less shouty” from a diff means imagining the page. It never touches the build verdict and it does not wait for one.
The review reads the diagnosis, not only the diff
The fix-safety review sees the root cause and the affected areas, and it decides whether a pull request opens ready for review at all. A blocked review still opens a draft quoting its own reasons, so a wrong call always leaves something a person can overrule.
Somebody has to answer the customer
The last stage drafts the update for whoever reported it, in a support voice, and a person reads and sends it. No coding agent in this set has anyone to reply to.
Which one fits your workflow
Run CodeRabbit over a Novix pull request.
