It is the closest thing in this set to our own sandbox verification, and it runs on every pull request a team opens rather than only on agent-written ones. That is broader coverage than we offer and we do not plan to match it.
Custom rules in plain English, and it learns from your comments
Novix has review guidance and sensitive paths, which is the same instinct, but their rule surface is more developed.
You can self-host it
Self-hosting on your own AWS, plus SSO and SAML and GitHub Enterprise. Novix is hosted only, so a security review that requires self-hosting ends with them and not with us.
There is an API to embed the reviewer in your own product

What Novix does differently
Novix writes the fix
Greptile reviews and validates, then hands a flagged issue to Claude Code or Cursor for somebody to fix. Novix drafts the patch itself and opens the pull request.
The report never has to become a pull request first
Their only input is a pull request that already exists, which means a person has already found the bug, understood it and patched it. Everything before that is the part we do.
It decides what is worth working on
Spam and outside feedback are set aside before any expensive model call, and a question gets an answer drafted from your code and known issues rather than a patch.
Somebody has to answer the customer
The last stage drafts the update for whoever reported it, and a person reads and sends it.
Which one fits your workflow
Greptile and Novix barely overlap, and the honest read is that they are complementary. They are the last checkpoint before a merge; we are the first step after a complaint. If their sandbox runs over a Novix pull request and catches a runtime bug our container missed, that is the system working as it should. The one place to be careful is the word sandbox: theirs runs your branch to hunt for runtime bugs on work that already exists, ours proves a drafted patch against your build and tests before anybody sees it. Same word, different jobs.
