How the free trial works

Your trial starts when you create a workspace and runs for 7 days. It is the full product at Pro level: every connector, the diagnose-and-fix loop, screenshot-reading vision, monitoring context, the human-approval gate, the whole dashboard, four tasks at once, several auto-summons, your own inference key and codebase guidance. No feature is held back, and there is no card field. The end date is on your billing page in settings.

Nothing pauses and nothing is charged. When the 7 days are up your workspace moves to Solo, which is free. Your tasks, diagnoses, connections and history are all where you left them, and Novix goes on reading reports and drafting fixes.

What changes is capacity, not the loop: one task at a time and up to three task runs a day, one auto-summon rather than several, and no codebase guidance or your own inference key. Those are the Pro capabilities, and subscribing is how you get them back.

Approving a fix is the one thing that needs a card. On Solo the inference runs on Novix’s account, so an approved fix is $1.49 and Novix asks for a card before the first one. Adding it charges nothing. A diagnosis, a drafted fix and a fix you reject are never billed, and the spend stops at $98 in a billing period.

On the trial there is nothing to cancel. No card is on file, so a trial that ends can never turn into a charge; it lands on the free plan instead. To leave entirely, email support@getnovix.ai and we delete your workspace and its data (see the Privacy Policy).

Subscribing is a separate decision. Paid plans are live, and a trial still never converts into one on its own. A card exists only once you go through checkout yourself, the first charge happens then rather than when the trial ends, and after that you cancel any time before the next renewal date. Adding a card on the free plan starts no subscription: it only lets an approved fix bill. The Terms have the full billing provisions.
